Plant Operator

Your mission

Join our pioneering team as a Plant Operator for our first commercial chemical plant and upcoming facilities in Spain. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our plant. While automation handles routine tasks, your hands-on decision-making, adaptability, eye for performance improvement and compliance with safety standards will be the key to our success.

Your Responsibilities

Operate and monitor plant equipment to ensure smooth and safe production processes.
Document plant operations digitally using COMOS for seamless knowledge transfer and tracking.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including welding, electrical work, and mechanical repairs.
Maintain compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations to uphold operational excellence.
Proactively contribute to process optimization, driving efficiency and performance improvements.

Your profile

Solid technical background and practical maintenance skills, preferably with expertise as electrician, mechanic, welder, or similar
Strong understanding of process equipment (valves, pumps, instrumentation) and chemical safety regulations.
Exceptional attention to detail, capable of identifying and preventing process deviations before they escalate.
Highly reliable and trustworthy.
Comfortable with digital tools and able to quickly learn and adapt to new IT systems.
Fluent in Spanish and intermediate English skills.
Valid driver’s license.

Bonus Points

Prior experience in chemical plant operations and/or maintenance.
Familiarity with PCS7 automation systems.
Previous exposure to working in an industrial or high-safety environment.
